The purpose of this policy and procedure is to clearly set out Karo’s policy and procedure with regard to safeguarding vulnerable adults and to ensure full compliance with HSE “Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse National Policy” (2014).

This policy establishes guidelines for the appropriate use of the Karo app by workers, focusing on rostering for shifts, access to pay, and adherence to relevant employment laws, including rest periods, prohibited back-to-back shift bookings, and the Working Time Act 1997 (Ireland).

The purpose of this attendance policy is to establish clear expectations and guidelines for agency healthcare workers regarding attendance. Consistent attendance is vital to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to service users and to maintain the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

This Child Protection Policy seeks to meet the legal requirements of the Children First Act, 2015 and the obligations that are set out in the Children First National Guidance, 2017 to keep children and young people safe from abuse or harm.

This Code of Conduct provides guidelines for healthcare workers employed by Karo Healthcare ltd. It is designed to ensure that all staff members maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and respect in the delivery of healthcare services.

Karo Healthcare is committed to treating all staff fairly and equitably. Where issues arise in the workplace, these will usually be dealt with informally by your manager. There will be occasions when it may be necessary to invoke Disciplinary Procedures, which are designed to protect the interests of both the Company and its employees.

Ensure employees can raise concerns without fear of suffering retribution. Provide a transparent and confidential process for dealing with concerns. This policy applies to all KARO Healthcare staff.

The purpose of this policy provides staff with a readily accessible procedure for addressing problems or concerns they may have regarding their work, management, or another member of staff.
