  • We have shifts available across the Republic of Ireland for nurses, social care workers and healthcare assistants. To find out if we have shifts near you first download the app, then submit your details.

  • We do not currently offer visa sponsorship, but if you’re currently in Ireland on an eligible visa and have enough relevant care experience, you can register with Karo.

  • Yes. Karo employees accrue annual leave in accordance with the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997. Annual leave is calculated at 8% of approved hours worked and paid through payroll, subject to the statutory maximum entitlement.

    Your annual leave entitlement builds up as you work and is recorded through our payroll system. Holiday pay is paid when annual leave is taken. If you have any questions about your accrued leave or holiday pay, please contact the Karo Payroll Team.

  • Signing up takes no time at all.  As long as all your documents are in order and are ready to upload it can take as little as 15 minutes to sign up.  

  • Our rates are set by the hospitals, nursing homes and the social care organisations we work with. This means the rates can change depending on your location, skills and preferences.

    Once you’re fully registered, you’ll be able to see all the roles and rates available near you.

  • You’ll get paid directly into your bank account weekly.
